ABOUT: This firm submitted catalogs to PTLA 1894-1898 but is not noticed in DLB. A notice in PW 45 (April 21, 1894, p626) informs us: "Philadelphia, Pa.—Mr. A. D. MacMullen will represent on the road the joint interests of Mr. David McKay and the Rodgers Co., of Philadelphia, and will open a New York office in the Domestic Building, corner Broadway and 14th Street, with a complete line of samples of both houses." "Philadelphia, Pa.—The Rodgers Co., of Philadelphia, have acquired the popular line of i6mos formerly published by the Woodward Co., of Baltimore. The line will be very much improved as to manufacture, including new and attractive cloth bindings."
