Thank you for your interest in cARTalog .
The project came to a close September 1, 2006.
We are grateful to all the folks who have adopted cards over the past 18 months. We are happy to announce that all 1 million salvaged cards have been claimed.
Sad that you missed the opportunity to adopt cards for your own? There are libraries all over the country retiring there cards . . .take the opportunity to explore other libraries and collections. It is likely there are orphaned cards just waiting for you. If cARTalog becomes aware of other sources, we will post them here.

20 cards in an envelope with 78 cents postage
paid

rate priority mail envelope
400 cards in a 9.5" x 12.5" flat

There are also larger sizes.
Please note:
- NOT ALL PRIORITY ENVELOPES ARE FLAT RATE.
- REQUESTS MADE USING ANY ENVELOPE THAT IS NOT OFFICIALLY A FLAT RATE ENVELOPE INCREASES PROCESSING TIME. PLEASE BE KIND TO OUR VOLUNTEERS AND SEND ONLY FLAT RATE ENCLOSURES.
- IF YOU SEND ENCLOSURES THAT ARE NOT FLAT RATE IT WILL DELAY THE SENDING OF YOUR CARDS and will deliver you significantly
fewer cards.

to Shannon Thye in our mail room for her assistance with postage
