This edition is never illustrated in PTLA, but all copies appear to have "Arlington Edition" stamped on spine or top board or both.

illustration as shown above. Verso titlepage: Argyle Press, Printing
& Bookbinding, 24-26 Wooster St. Dark green cloth stamped black,
gold around "Lucile" on spine is about 22mm wide and
incorporates small leaves.. "Arlington Edition" on upper board and
across spine; overall design as shown below. Glazed yellow endsheets.

but none present. Dedication and apologetic preface. "Arlington
Edition" on cover and spine. Rose cloth stamped black. Ad for Argyle

on spine stamped as gold panel immediately above. Advertisement at
rear for the Argyle Press, Printers and Binders 265-267 Cherry St.
and 520-522 Water St. S&EH: Signature dated January 12, 1894; BAP
Hu3: laid in at p112-113 a strip of contact photos of young woman,
with stamp of George M. Jameson, Photographer, Culpepper, VA.
