Frontispiece is b&w riding party in mountains, lithographic titlepage shown right. Limp ooze is glued directly to brown paper endsheets (rear endsheets missing). Teg, foreedge and bottom left untrimmed. S&EH: lapp edges of binding rubbed, page at end loose, chemise and slipcase.

Note: This binding design more closely matches the PTLA cut for the Bangalore Edition,1909-1912, a Handy Volume sized edition, than it does the cut for the Pyrogravure Edition.
