Biography
Candace Packard Lambie, a Clear Lake,
Iowa, resident, has been active in numerous organizations including the
Republican Party and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She has held local, state, and national
positions in the League of Women Voters.
Lambie was appointed to the Governor's Committee for the United Nations
to help coordinate activities in Iowa in observance of United Nations day and
to increase awareness of the work of the United Nations. Lambie received an award from the Grinnell
College Alumni Association in 1991 for her outstanding contributions to the
community. Lambie graduated from
Grinnell in 1931.
