Since the Information Arcade's Electronic Classroom opened in September 1992, professors, librarians and Arcade consultants have combined their scholarship and interests with computer technology to create an innovative and challenging learning environment. Students from a variety of disciplines can gather research via electronic databases and the Internet, intergrate their research into multimedia presentations, and explore the virtual world of simulations and CD-ROMs. |
